I have spent my entire career in home improvement, focusing on reducing a home's impact on the environment. After studying nascent "Green Building" techniques in college, I went on to start a contracting business working on energy-efficient residential remodels.

As the climate crisis worsened, I realized that simply reducing emissions from a home was not enough; emissions needed to be eliminated entirely. Luckily, the concept of whole-home electrification has emerged as a solution. Renewable electricity production is the fastest-growing segment of our energy matrix, so it makes sense that we try to use more electricity in our lives. The reduced cost of solar electricity, combined with technological innovations in heat pumps, meant that any existing home could become a net zero energy home, a description previously reserved only for high-end custom homes.
I have been working on whole home electrification since 2016, and in this process, I realized that the most significant need was for more companies willing to install heat pumps in homes. I have installed hundreds of heat pump systems, and I am focused exclusively on this piece of renewable energy transformation.

Rocky Mountain Heat Pumps was started with a simple mission: Install cutting-edge heat pump HVAC systems in homes while delivering the best possible customer experience. I am intentionally keeping my business small and local to provide the best systems in a cost-effective, customer-focused way.

Heat pumps are the most comfortable, cost-effective, carbon-friendly, and safest way to heat and cool a home. Get in touch with me, and let's talk about your home.
